Step onto a decoupaged floor with your bare feet and you'll feel a soft, almost warm surface. What a change from tile or stained cement floors!
The decoupage creates a natural radiant barrier, a real plus for those seeking eco-friendly options for flooring but also who want something unique.
Custom colors are created specifically for your home or business to match your decor. The surface looks similar to stone but not exactly. The paper is torn by hand, then each piece is colored, textured and applied to create an organic, visual flow throughout. Applied directly to the cement slab, it covers the cracks and flaws, holes from carpet tack removal and even the drywall and paint splatters.
Able to withstand heavy traffic, the color does not wear through like stained cement and the satin sheen always looks great. If you want a high gloss, that's not a problem.
Whether you use our recommended cleaners or just use a vinegar/water solution your floor will stay clean and fresh. A Swiffer or Shark Steamer works very well, too. No wax and buffing is ever needed.
Of course, we recommend putting felt or rubber pads on furniture feet but the weight of furniture will not scratch the surface if moved across the floor.
Once cured, even your pet's toenails won't damage Decoupage Art Floors, either.
